Preparation for Borneo Baptism
•It is important that each person in this project undergoes fitness training in preparation of the 5 day trek in the rain forest.
•The fitness training will be organised and managed by Dominick Da Costa for the Goa staff and Richard Devlin for the UK staff.
•Fitness training will consist of a combination of personal training and group sessions.
•The personal training will be monitored by an app called Endomondo which calculates distances and calories burnt. It is important to note this is not a competition, it is simply a method for tracking each person’s progress.
•Group fitness sessions is another way of monitoring each individual’s progress, but it also promotes team building which is one of the main objectives of the project.
